Kaboodle is a multidimensional booking platform that unifies ticketing, travel and accommodation to enable promoters and event organisers around the world to create world-class events.
We work with some of the best festivals, venues and events on the planet. Our partners include Broadwick Live, Snowbombing, Lost Village, Boomtown, Victorious and many more. We come from a festival background, so our thorough understanding of the needs of promoters helped us to create a flexible solution that maximises our Partners' profits and provides a frictionless guest experience. We are not just a plug-in or add-on, we are a complete solution.
We are ambitious and curious. We strive for openness and honest communication. We put our Partners' brand first. We are flexible and adaptable. We work collaboratively with everyone. We are built on frictionless technology. We were there from the beginning. We aim to simplify and unify.
As Kaboodle moves into its next phase of rapid growth and development, we need someone who can be the driving force behind generating new client relationships and contacts, sealing new deals and maintaining the great relationships we have with our existing clients.
Who are you:
You are experienced in managing client relationships and possess a compelling sales personality, a hunger to chase and close new business and bucketloads of initiative.

- Work with the Head of Sales to plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
- Work with the technical product team to ensure quotes and business is consistent with current product offering and planned technical development
- Research the festival, venue, events and exhibition markets to find new opportunities
- Pitch development and presentations
- Negotiating deals and preparation of proposals
- Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Find and develop new markets and improve sales
- Attend conferences, meetings and industry events
- Learn our Sales Deck like the back of your hand
- Be an active listener and a confident speaker
- Develop goals for the Business Development function which align to Kaboodle’s vision and business goals
- Represent Kaboodle’s values and voice at all times
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years experience in Business Development and Client Management in the ticketing, events or music industries, with strong connections
- Track record of consistently hitting sales targets
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interpret and present data
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty
- Collaborative and confident
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent Google applications
